Sarah Boris is an artist and designer based in London. Her artworks oscillate between pop art, concrete poetry, and take the form of sculptures, painting, screenprint editions, books, rugs and more. In 2015, she set up her eponymous art and design studio. Her work has since been exhibited at the Design Museum, London and acquired by the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, Frac Normandie Rouen, the New York Centre of Book Arts and MAK, Vienna. Her books include Global Warming Anyone?, Le Théâtre Graphique and Rainbow. Her recent public art commission: the Heart Bench series created in 2022 demonstrates how she deploys a universal symbol into a functional sculpture.
Prior to setting up her studio, between 2005 and 2015, Sarah worked for some of the UK’s leading cultural and publishing institutions including Phaidon, the Institute of Contemporary Arts and Barbican. She was judge president for D&AD and has judged awards internationally.
